random thoughts

I am having one of those days of feeling like you dont give enough thanks for the things that you have. In a moment things can be perfect and in a instant it can all be taken away. I am so grateful for my life, I have it better than I could ever imagined. I have an amazing husband and three beautiful, happy, healthy children. I am so grateful to be me and thank you to everyone that has been a part of my life even if it was as simple as a smile. I held my baby girl today in my arms and squeezed her so tight and told her how much I loved her and I didnt want to put her down and the best part is she held me close and gave me hugs and kisses and told me she loved me. What more could a mom want than a moment like that. It is great to be me! As the top of our blog states dont blink, truley in an instant the are all grown and life is passing you by. I dont want it to pass me by I want to be in it and live in the now and not worry about tommorow I want to see and be apart of every little thing. Sorry about the random thoughts it was just one of those days.

Sisters

A girl couldnt ask for better sisters! I love each of these women right here! I love that we all have such strong relationships with each other. We are there for each other rain or shine it is such a comfort to have them by my side!

Our very own pumpkins

okay so we decided to grow our own pumpkins in our garden this year! Wow what ever we did we did it right. We got 7 pumpkins all together, we had eight but someone took one it grew outside of our fence so what can you do! Anyways our kids loved watching them grow and when they picked them it was worth all the work! Well really what am I talking about I didnt really do anything but water here and there I cant take the credit on this one. Well if you have ever read the story book the berenstein bear with the giant pumpkin well I believe it was in our backyard it weighted over 100 pounds it was awesome it is the one Hallie is sitting on! We hope we have as good of luck next time!

It was such an enjoyable trip to California. We went because our oldest nephew had is farewell to go a mission to St. Petersberg Russia! Kevin we are so proud. I love him so much he is an amazing young man it is a privilage to be apart of his life. My kids we so fun the loved everything about being there. It is fun to be able to show them places of where I grew up and to get inn n out and thriftys ice cream! yummy yummy!

Happy 7th Anniversary

Happy 7th Anniversary!
Wow where has all the time gone? Do you ever look at your life and realize that things are above and beyond all your hopes and dreams? Well today is one of those days. I sat today and reflected back on my life and all that has happened. I remember being a little girl and dreaming about that man I would marry , our wedding, how many children we would have, a place of my own and just being big kids. Never in my wildest dreams would I have guessed that it would be this perfect. Sure we have had our ups and downs but through it all it has only made us stronger. I love you Ben you are my everything. I cherish all our moments together and all the memories that we have made. This past year we have grown so much together thank you for always being there to lean on I wouldnt want it any other way . I look forward to our many, many, many years together. I love you and thank you for making all my dreams come true.

This year we started a new traditon that was really fun we had a birthday party for just our little family. In the morning Ben made french toast and we sang Happy Birthday to us ! Because for our anniversary it isnt just for me and ben it is a celebration to us as a family! At night after me and Ben got home from dinner. Thank you Julie for watching the kids! We had cupcakes everyone had there own candles and blew them out wishing that we could always be a happy and eternal family. It was so much fun and our kids loved it!

Kids EVERWHERE !!!

So what do you get with 9 children eight and under? Oh Crazy CRAZY fun! So it was Lisa and Dans anniversary yesterday and so Dan called me and asked if I would watch there kids so he could take her away so of course I said yes. Well I figured if I had 4 out of the 12 twelve cousins that live in Utah here we might as well asked all the others too. So on it came all the 4 of the gardner kids, and 2 out of the three mccormack kids because Gavin is to little. Ethan didnt come because it was Amys birthday and Sarah is too little and he wanted to help his daddy get presents and the 5 beck kids didnt because well they live in California. Wow now you know the life history anyways! So we started out at 3 in the afternoon yesterday until 3 in the afternoon today. We had pizza, candy, popcorn,played an animal game, dancing game, olympic races, talent show, special movie time, they put on two plays, played outside, had a water fight, and played on the slip and slide. It was very fun and in the morning Ethan, Sarah, and Gavin joined us along with Amy, Lisa Mac, my mom and dad and Hillary. We had a birthday lunch for Amy. Happy Birthday Sis! It was a super fun day. I have to admit It was crazy at times and I called and told Ben if he was planning for 9 children he would have to find another wife. LOL!!!! Anyway it was a fun time to spend with all the kids and I hope that Lisa and Dan you had a wonderful Anniversary!

Lagoon

Here is another fun day for the Sandberg Clan. We decided take the kids to Lagoon for our stake Lagoon Day. The kids had a blast, it is so fun to see their little faces light up with excitement. It truely makes being a parent even better, which honestly I think is already the greatest. I love these little monkeys everyday is truely new and exciting. I love all there little sayings and laughs. I am loving enjoying the moment, it scares me because it is all going to fast. I cant believe that Carter is going to be six soon. In a blink of an eye, and it passes you bye that is why I am going to enjoy the here and now. I cant think of a better place I rather be than with these four other people in my life.

Dinosaur Park

I love this picture they were stunned by the moving dinosaurs. I couldnt get the girls to focus and look at me they were just in awe over the dinosaurs that looked so real. It was such a fun day, the kids had so much fun. Thanks Lisa, Britton, Bryson, Parker, Abby, Amy, Ethan and Sarah. We had a FABULOUS DAY!

Daddy's Soccer Game

I love this picture Ellie spotted her dad and was yelling "Hi Dad" almost the whole game it was so cute to see her so excited. Ben did such a great job his team took 1st place in the playoffs ! GO BEN!! My pictures of him didnt turn out because of the glass.

Pool Time

Ellies first time in the big pool. She was loving it. When I got her out of the tube she kept grabbing my hands trying to have me let go of her. She thinks she is big stuff. What a cute little woman. Carter and Hallie were here to having the time of there lifes I didnt get pictures of them but they were just as cute. Thanks to Uncle Buff and Aunt Cami we have a lot of fun during the summer soaking up the sun!

HAPPY 28TH BDAY BEN

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN! Well I made sure Ben got the day off today so that we could take him out for the day to try to show him all our love and appreciation we have for him. We woke up bright and early I made omelets, then we headed for our very first time to the front runner and decided to spend the day in Salt Lake. The kids were so excited everything was so exciting to them if we would have only did that it would have pleased the kids. After the front runner we took tracks to the Gateway and went and bought movie tickets to see the new movie UP with matt, amy, ethan and Sarah. Ben and Ethan have the same birthday. Then we headed and picked up some lunch before the movie then to the movie. Which was fun but also had a very sad moment Carter figured out about death from the movie and was hystarical. Seriously it was the sadiest thing that I have ever seen. He kept saying that he didnt want me and Ben to ge older and die. He said that me and ben were really old and he was scared. We reassured him that we were really young and not to worry about it. It broke me and bens hearts. After the movie we shopped and let the kids run through the fountain at Gateway. Then we decided that we needed to go to dinner somewhere nice so we took tracks to Trolley Square. We ate a Rodeozio I probally spelt that wrong sorry. Ok so as we leaving rain starts pouring down and we have to walk a block and a half to get to the track station. No coats, or umbrella. So we put all three kids in the double stroller, luckily we had two baby blankets so we draped them over the stroller and went searching for and umbrella. We found a plain black, nothing special about it where at walmart you could get it for like 6 dollars oh try 37.00 thats what you get shen shopping at Trolley Square. So we headed out it was lighting and lets just say water was up to the curb it was horrible out. I cant even explain how bad it was out but we made it to the track station and made a memory that we will never forget. It was seriously the best day ever. Happy Birthday Ben we love you and are thankful for you and all that you do for our little family. You make every day a happy and bright day. I love every little thing about you. Summer time FUN

TODAY WE DECIDED TO ENJOY A LITTLE FUN IN THE SUN! THE KIDS WERE SO EXCITED TO GET THE POOLS OUT AND SLIP AND SLIDE. THEY WERE LAUGHING SO HARD AND ENJOYING JUST BEING KIDS. I LOVE TIMES LIKE THESE WHERE IT IS HONESTLY PERFECT THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS BEN AT WORK OTHER THAN THAT LIFE IS PRETTY PERFECT. IT WAS ELLIES FIRST TIME BEING BIG IN THE POOL BY HERSELF, LAST YEAR SHE WAS SO LITTLE I HELD HER AND JUST PUT HER PIGGIES IN.

Memorial Day Family Reunion

Memorial Day in good old Benjamin Utah. Well every year my mothers side the Anderson/ Buftons have a family reunion. It means the absolute world to my grandparents to see everyone there. It was a lot of fun. The kids played on the toys, played volleyball and catch with Daddy. We ate yummy fried chicken the mom made for us all and all of our sides added to it. It just was a relaxing and fun in the sun day. That was Ellies first time on a swing without me holding her she loved it with her big sister. It was fun hanging out with all my cousins and just enjoying each others company.
